I think it is safe to say, wherever you are in the UK, we have been experiencing some higher than usual temperatures this summer and, if like me, you have a chronic illness or disability, chances are you’ve been feeling it more than most. 

When I started this page, it was mainly a safe space to share creatively, but it was never meant to feel like ‘work’ and due to the impact of the heat and my declining health, I have found it really difficult to keep up with writing something, even once a month. I have been limited in where I can go and what I can do in recent weeks and as such have less to share. I hope to do more in the autumn but for now, as they say ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ so whilst I take a necessary summer hibernation, here are some photos from the few times I have been able to venture out.
